Kimberly Siver, Designer
Her name is Kimberly Siver, but everyone calls her Kimmi. After working in the print and packaging design industry for brand names including Mikasa, Towle, and Wallace, she now focus her energy on our core services – print design and packaging, logos and branding, and interactive design.
Kimmi has a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art and Design from Fullsail University where she earned a Certificate of Excellence and a spot in the graduate showcase. Since then she has gained experience working in both the corporate and SMB world, most notably a number of package designs in stores such as Ross, Macy’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, Belk, and Bon Ton among others.
“I like to see and present the world from a new perspective.”
When she’s not at her computer you might find her searching the world for the best picture she’ll ever take, browsing the local flea markets and antique stores for hidden treasure, or possibly learning an awesome new trick on her rainbow, glitter, glow-in-the-dark hula hoop (because what’s the point in owning a hula hoop if it’s not a glittery rainbow that glows in the dark?).
Zakery Kates, Lead Developer
Zak remembers being a young kid and telling people that one day he would go to school to learn “how to talk to computers”. He ended up studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology at DePaul University, but his desire to create something out of nothing wasn’t fulfilled. He took one class to learn “HTML – The Basics” in his Junior year and instantly fell in love. Along the way, he’s added HTML, PHP, jQuery and a host of programming languages to his repertoire, allowing him to create dynamic, eye-catching websites for clients.
One of Zak’s favorite quotes:
“There’s no issue of whether or not we’ll be able to solve a problem. It’s just a matter of figuring out how.” ~ Brian Voelker
Zak believes all things on a site should be functional, and the main focus should always be the user. If you always focus on the end user you’ll never lose. Under that same philosophy, clients of Silverline Creative are always treated with the upmost importance and respect – Zak loves to go the extra mile to make sure your reaction is “Wow!” every time!
