Naperville, IL — December 13, 2011 — Naperville-based Silverline Creative, a website design and development firm, has received the 2011 Interactive Media Award (IMA) for Outstanding Achievement in web design for development of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s microsite featuring an animated, multimedia tour to introduce the new St. James Farm facility.
The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. Websites receiving this award have excelled in all areas of judging criteria and represent a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism. The St. James Farm microsite received an overall score of 477 beating out over 90 entries in the ‘Natural Environment/Green category.
The website features a natural, historical feel, consistent with the preserve itself combined with modern animation and functionality that is highly user-friendly. Rich in multimedia components, the site includes video interviews, photo galleries and maps of the grounds to introduce visitors to both the estate’s rich history and its newly opened facilities.
“We’re very pleased to be honored with this award,” said Steve Lovisa, president of Silverline Creative. “This website is a great example of the type of custom development companies today are looking for, combining the best of creative design with enhanced functionality that tells a story and provides a rich user experience.”
